Are you one of those teenage females who feel like your breasts are too big or to small? Or, are you a grown up woman feeling this?
The following structured approach provides clear guidance and encouragement, helping women and girls understand that health and self-acceptance are far more important than conforming to societal expectations of beauty.
I recently had the opportunity to visit a commune where I met a few teenage girls. Upon learning about my work in breast care and promoting healthy and beautiful breasts, two young girls approached me with their concerns about breast size.
Two teenage girls, two different concerns around their breasts
A 14-year-old girl feels she has too big breasts
One shy, innocent girl of 14 requested a private conversation. She confided that her breasts are too big. Boys often stare at her, and other girls seem jealous. She feels uncomfortable and unsure about what to do.
A 16-year-old girl feels she has too small breasts
Another girl, aged 16, shared her feelings about having small breasts. While the other girls seemed accepting, boys neglected her and paid attention to those with bigger breasts. This made her feel overlooked and inadequate.
Breast size – a common issue amongst teenagers
The issue of breast size is one many women and girls face. Recently, I was giving a Sahasi Breast Care Massage Therapy session to a 62-year-old woman who shared her lifelong struggles with breast size. As a young woman, she had small breasts and felt self-conscious.
When her breasts developed and became larger by age 20, she again felt uncomfortable, this time because they were too big. After attending one of my seminars, she massaged her breasts for the first time, and during this moment of self-care, she realized that her breasts were neither too big nor too small. They were perfect as they were, organs of motherliness and compassion.
This acceptance brought her peace and contentment.
Understanding breast size

Breast size is largely determined by genetics. You inherit traits from your family, which means the size and shape of your breasts are often beyond your control.
Other influences
